Taking a Course For Category A1
The course you take for category A1 is an important step in getting your licence. It's not the only requirement. You also have to pass a practical test.

Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College provides courses that cover all the necessary theoretical training for obtaining a pilot's license. This includes the competencies of the MEA Aeroskills Training Package as well as Part 66 modular assessments. These courses also meet the licensing requirements for the European Union. However, practical training is not included in these programs. Students can complete the practical training by using RPL.

Theory test
If you want to get a category A1 licence you must pass a theoretical test before you can begin your practical training. The theory test consists of 40 questions, of which 10 concern road safety. The test lasts 30 minutes long and you will only make five mistakes.
You can prepare for the test by conducting practice tests or by using a study book. There are also online courses and programmes that help you learn the essential knowledge. The questions in these study materials are not the same as those used in the theory test, however, they're built on the same subjects. Practical test
